After getting dump by Bobby Lashley, Lana has moved on and now managing Natalya. The two have become totes adorbs on television, wearing matching outfits and using lingo that the kids enjoy.
Appearing on Rusev's Twitch channel, Lana discussed her real-life relationship with Natalya and revealed two peers who are big fans of what they are doing together.
"When we started doing stuff on television, Charlotte came up to me and was like, 'this is so good. My dad loves it.' I popped big time because I love Ric. So much of his character, if I could take and embody it as a woman, he was such a great heel. It was such a compliment. Then, I saw Ric and he was like, 'This is so good. This is money,'" said Lana.
Rusev chimed in, recalling a time on tour when they had been on the bus for hours and Lana told Ric she was a fan of Darius Rucker. Ric then pulled out his phone, called Darius, and had him speak with Lana.
Circling back to her friendship with Natalya, Lana said, "She's helped me so much, from the very beginning when I got to the main roster in 2014. I started becoming closer with Nattie in 2015 when I broke my wrist and was out for two months. I was sad, lonely, and depressed. She would text me every day and check up on me. That's when I started to trust her as a person. She made me feel like I mattered. It made an impression on me and I want to make people feel that way if they're out injured."
Lana went on to praise Natalya's work ethic and how Natalya is honest with her instead of talking behind her back.
