Lance Archer Believes He Should Be In The Picture To Challenge For AEW TNT Title

Lance Archer believes he should be in the AEW TNT qualifying mix.

The AEW TNT Championship is currently vacant after Adam Copeland's injury at AEW Double or Nothing, and a new champion will be crowned at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in a ladder match.

Qualifying matches have already started with Konosuke Takeshita and Mark Briscoe earning their spots in the match.

Lance Archer believes he should be considered for at least a qualifying match.

"Not all the participants have been named for the TNT ladder match. I have a pretty rich history with the TNT Title in the sense that I was challenging for the first ever championship back in 2020 and I challenged again in 2021. I absolutely believe that I should be in that conversation and having one of those matches to be part of that TNT ladder match at Forbidden Door. Who knows what's going to happen and what is on the table, but I absolutely believe I should be in that picture," Archer said on Hitting The Turnbuckle.

Archer is currently aligned with The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch) on AEW TV.

Jack Perry will face Dustin Rhodes in a TNT Title Qualifying match on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite.
