Lex Luger comments on being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2025 alongside Triple H.
It's been 30 years since Lex Luger appeared on WWE programming. However, he will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2025. Triple H will headline the class, entering for the second time and this time receiving his solo induction.
Lex Luger recently commented on his induction announcement during the most recent episode of the Lex Expressed podcast. When asked about the significance of being inducted alongside Triple H, Luger says that he doesn't know if it was intentional. Still, it does make the moment extra special because of the role that Triple H has ascended to in recent years.
"Well, I don't know if there's any intent behind it, but obviously, you know, I thought about, 'Wow, I'm going in with Triple H. He's the headliner, and that's a huge honor going in the same class with him, with the role, and the way that I've seen him come from Hunter Helmsley to that. I mean, just the impact he's had on the company and everything he's accomplished and where the company's headed now, he's been a big part of that. So that does make it extra special, for sure."
Lex Luger has said that he would like Diamond Dallas Page and Sting to be on stage with him if at all possible.
The only other solidified name for the WWE Hall of Fame as of this writing is Michelle McCool. However, Fred "Typhoon" Ottman recently stated that he and John "Earthquake" Tenta will be inducted as a tag team. Learn more here.
