Lexis King did not win his match, but he still got exactly what he wanted.
On the February 27 episode of WWE NXT, Mr. Stone helped Von Wagner defeat Lexis King. King attacked Wagner after the bell, and when Mr. Stone got him involved, King left him lying with a vicious Coronation.
In an NXT Digital Exclusive, Kexis King commented on his loss and his actions after the match.
“It was exactly the outcome I was looking for. I wasn’t looking for a match with Von Wagner. I was looking to get my hands on that sweet little Mr. Stone and show him what a true role model is for his kids. Not someone that has another man fight his own battles. Not someone that steps into other people’s business. Someone that gets the job done. Now, while Mr. Stone is limping his way back to his little boys and they look at him with shame, they turn on the TV, and they’ll see Lexis King," King said.
