Ludwig Kaiser answered the open challenge of LA Knight on the August 30th episode of WWE SmackDown, looking for his chance to capture the WWE United States Championship.
In accepting the challenge, Kaiser said he was going to take the championship and make it his own personal European Championship.
Despite having the German crowd's support, Kaiser could not capture the US Title.
Knight finished off Kaiser with the BFT.

Kaiser is part of WWE Raw. This was his first televised match on WWE SmackDown since May 2023.
With this victory, Knight has now made two successful defenses of the WWE US Title. He won the title from Logan Paul at WWE SummerSlam.
