Ludwig Kaiser comments on WWE's upcoming trip to Berlin.
On August 31st, WWE will be making the trip to Berlin for the Bash In Berlin Premium Live Event. This will be the latest trip to Europe for WWE of the back of events in Glasgow, Scotland and Lyon, France.
While speaking to TZ in a recent interview, German WWE superstar Ludwig Kaiser discussed the upcoming event and the success WWE has had in Europe recently.
"What's happening in the WWE in the world right now is unbelievable. The WWE is hotter than ever. Wherever we go, the whole city is turning into a huge WWE city. There are fans everywhere, people with merchandise. Especially in Europe. We were just in France and Glasgow. Europe is stealing the show from the whole world. We have incredible fans. Not least because of the football culture, I would say. France and Glasgow blew everyone's socks off. People went crazy, packed houses. Europe has a quality mark now. Everyone knows now: Wow, things are really happening in Europe. Now we're next in line. It's a bit more than just the event itself. It's a whole weekend, we have Smackdown before it. There are different activities you can do. Anyone who gets a ticket is there for more than just the few matches. The whole feeling is unbelievable. Nobody does it like the WWE. On August 31st we have the big finale with the Bash in Berlin. For me as the only German representative in the WWE, this is something very special. It is an absolute highlight this year. Our eyes in the WWE are always on WrestleMania. But this is the very first big highlight for me now that I am working towards. I am looking forward to marching in in front of my people."
