Luke Jacobs sends a message after PROGRESS Unboxing 7.
At PROGRESS' final show of 2024, Unboxing 7, Luke Jacobs defended his PROGRESS World Title in the main event, facing off with Leon Slater, Ricky Knight Jr. and Man Like DeReiss. Jacobs would come away with the victory, and will next face Tate Mayfairs for the PROGRESS World Title on February 23rd at PROGRESS: My Own Destiny.
Following Unboxing 7, PROGRESS cameras caught up with a bloodied Luke Jacobs after his title defense, where Jacobs promised that PROGRESS will stay North-West Strong.
"Look at me. Look at me. This is what the Progress World title means to me. Man like Dereiss, Leon Slater, Ricky Knight Jr. I've beaten them before and I beat them tonight. Take Mayfairs wants some, well they can have some. I will bleed buckets, I will drench that canvas in my sweat if it means I keep this belt. This is everything to me. This is the epitome of years and years of fucking hard work and no one, especially not Tate Mayfairs, with his stupid gimmick of a key, is going to take it from me. If I have to bleed buckets one more time come February, then I'll do it. Because PROGRESS will stay North-West Strong."
