Madusa Says She Turned Down Being Interviewed For Netflix's 'Mr. McMahon' Docuseries

The "Mr McMahon" Netflix docuseries premiered on September 25, and Madusa has revealed that she chose not to be interviewed for it.

Madusa, also known as Alundra Blayze, had a legendary career in the wrestling world. She was a trailblazer in both WWF and WCW, and she has made appearances for WWE over the years. Among other accolades, she was a three-time WWF Women's Champion. Given her prominent run in WWF, she worked closely with McMahon behind the scenes.

Speaking on her Paving The Way podcast (via 1TS), Madusa stated that she was contacted for the docuseries, and she decided not to be a part of it.

"They contacted me, they wanted me in this thing so bad. They contacted me, I don’t know, about a year ago, two years ago maybe. They were already starting this, and they were like, ‘It’ll be cool. Vince is involved. He’s doing it.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s cool.’ I’m like, ‘No.’ I almost, I’m like, okay, if Vince is doing it…but something in my gut, I’m telling you, we all have that natural instinct, and you’ve got to follow your gut because that was my money-maker in this business. I’m like, ‘Nope,’ and I’m so glad I had nothing to do with it. No. I’ll never forget, I have the conversations, they’re in emails, I have those conversations," Madusa said.
