Mansoor looks back on a pitch for a Scientology group in WWE.
WWE released Mace and Mansoor in a round of cuts on September 21. The duo had been paired together as the Maximum Male Models. They were left off of WWE programming at different points, and they have since discussed some of the pitches they had so they would get used again.
Speaking on The Bob Culture Podcast, Mansoor recalled one of the creative pitches that was on the table had during their time in WWE. He noted that he and Mace had a pitch for a cult-like angle, and there was an idea for a Scientology group, and The Miz would have been their Tom Cruise.
"We had a bunch of pitches. We had a multi-level marketing scheme, kind of cult, kind of deal. They liked that better. They had an idea where that was gonna be Scientology and the Miz was gonna be our Tom Cruise. It woulda been cool," Mansoor said.
