Mansoor: When The Referees Raise Our Arms In Victory, They Need To Pose With Us. They Need To Match Our Freak

Mansoor and Mason Madden want to be presented the right way.

Since arriving in AEW/ROH, Mansoor and Madden have established themselves as a rising team by standing out from a vast majority of the duos in the company. With a unique presentation and comedic gimmick, MxM Collection is surely on their way to winning gold in the near future.

As it turns out, both Mansoor and Madden have a knack for production, learning some of those things during their time in WWE. While appearing on a recent edition of Talk Is Jericho, Madden first explained this, saying that it's been a benefit to them.

”Honestly I think a lot of our background in WWE, just knowing how production works to a certain degree, how certain TV angles work and things like that have just been a benefit to us because we can handle a lot of that stuff on our own.”

Then, Mansoor went on and joked that he needs the referees to match their freak after a victory pose.

“100%, we have many conversations with the camera crew on the floor, the hard cam, production in general, rehearsing certain quirks in our entrances. As you know, our entrance is the most important part of the match. We’ve had to talk to the referees because when they raise our arms in victory, we don’t want them to just raise our arms in front of the hard cam. They need to pose with us, they need to match our freak.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Mansoor and Madden talked about some of the key differences between WWE and AEW/ROH. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
