Maria Kanellis Provides Update After Undergoing Surgery For Adrenal Gland Mass

Maria Kanellis says her surgery went well.

In July, Maria Kanellis announced that she would be having a retroperitoneoscopic adrenalectomy after she found a mass on her adrenal gland, and it was borderline what doctors are concerned about. On October 24, Mike Bennett, Maria's husband, confirmed that she had surgery, and he said that it went well.

The next day, Maria Kanellis took to Twitter/X to post an update. She said that she was still in the hospital, the surgery went well, and her bloodwork looked good. Kanellis stated that they should have the biopsy results in 7-10 days to figure out what the mass was. Maria wrote that she may have to stay overnight one more night because she had nausea and a headache when standing, which may be blood pressure related or something else. She also spoke highly of everyone at the hospital.

Maria previously said that her AEW contract was set to expire on October 31.

Fightful wishes Maria Kanellis well in her recovery, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.
