Matt Cardona and Ultimo Dragon will finally clash at Squared Circle Exoi IV.
On January 22, Squared Circle Expo confirmed that Matt Cardona will defend the SCX Championship against Ultimo Dragon in the main event of Squared Circle Expo IV on March 30. The event will be held at The Wyndham Indianapolis West in Indianapolis, Indiana, and it will stream on Premier Streaming Network. Tickets and more information are available here.

in 2023, while speaking on an episode of Fightful's The Hump, Matt Cardona revealed that he was nearly set to face Ultimo Dragon at WrestleCade, but his booking fee was too high. He also said he wanted to at least tie Ultimo Dragon's record for the number of titles he held.
Cardona continues to compete throughout the wrestling world. "The Indy God" is featured in GCW, among other promotions. Ultimo Dragon is one of the most decorated veterans in the business, as he had enjoyed success in multiple promotions, including WWE, NJPW, and WCW.
