Here is your fight size update following TNA iMPACT! on AXS TV and ROH Wrestling on HonorClub for Thursday, August 22, 2024.
Below are highlights from both Thursday night wrestling shows.
- In the main event of TNA iMPACT!. The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) defeated The System (Moose & JDC). Afterward, Santana, Joe Hendry, Eddie Edwards, and Brian Myers were all involved in a show-closing brawl. Footage of the segment can be seen above.
- Mark Briscoe defeated The Beast Mortos to retain the ROH World Title in the main event of ROH.
- Lio Rush defeated Tony Nese on ROH. As a result, Rush has denied Tony a future title shot in the promotion.
- On iMPACT, Matt Cardona wasn't cleared. As a result, Madman Fulton stepped in, returning to TNA to team with Steph De Lander and Kon. Unfortunately, it was a losing effort to PCO, Xia Brookside, and Rhino.
