Matt Hardy says he believes he and Jeff will be optimized in TNA.
In the main event of TNA Against All Odds, Matt Hardy challenged Moose for the TNA World Championship. Moose scored the win, and when The System attacked Matt after the match, Jeff Hardy made his return to TNA as he reunited with Matt. Jeff had just departed AEW following the expiration of his contract.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Matt Hardy commented on Jeff Hardy's return to TNA.
"Whenever the match ended and The System jumped everybody and we were all down and they were on top of everyone, here comes the iconic Hardy Boyz music, and Jeff Hardy shows up to have my back, and the Hardy Boyz have been reunited once and for all in TNA. It is very exciting because I believe in TNA, the Hardy Boyz can get the run that we deserve at this stage in our career, and that is the run to cement our legacy. That is very important to both of us," Matt said.
After discussing the duo's time in AEW, Matt Hardy stated that they were happy being somewhere they felt like they would get utilized and optimized as legends who can still go.
“We’re both happy now that we are somewhere else where we feel like we’ll get utilized and optimized in our status as legends as we are, legends who can still go," Matt said.
Jeff Hardy has been announced for the TNA tapings in Philadelphia. More information is available here.
