Eight-man tag team match added to TNA Emergence.
Following the conclusion of the main event on the August 22 episode of TNA iMPACT! between The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) and The System (Moose & JDC), a brawl broke out between The System, now including Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards, and The Hardys and the two men that came out to save them, Joe Hendry, and Mike Santana.
The show would end with the babyfaces clearing house and sending The System packing. Shortly after that, an eight-man tag to match between all of these competitors was announced for TNA Emergence.
