When asked about the overall reaction from the WWE locker room about doing shows in Saudi Arabia, Matt says that, depending on the moral stance of who you asked, most WWE Superstars looked at the shows in Saudi Arabia as another booking that had to be taken care of.

“There were some people that weren’t crazy about it, most people were just like, ‘Yeah, it’s another town, another booking.’ That’s how the majority of people were. There were some people who weren’t fans of it and I guess I kind of get that, it depends on where everyone stands on their belief of morality or whatever else you want to classify it as. The majority of people were like, ‘Okay, well it’s another booking to take care of, so we’re gonna go over there and do it and then we’ll come back.’”

WWE just completed another event in Saudi Arabia. At WWE King and Queen of the Ring, history was made as not only was there a new king and queen, but new champions were crowned as well.
