QT Marshall and viral TikTok Star Big Boom! AJ competed against one another at AEW Full Gear: Zero Hour. The match also featured Big Justice, The Rizzler, Aaron Solo, and everything except a double-chunk chocolate cookie.
Matt Hardy commented on the match on the latest episode of his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast. Hardy, who is no stranger to weaving his family into storylines, loved the interactions of Big Justice and The Rizzler.
"I thought it was fabulous. I thought AJ did great, especially not being in the ring regularly, you know, it’s been many many years since he has been. I thought QT was amazing out there leading the match. It was put together in a very smart way, they had a couple of cool exciting high spots and it had a great finish, the way his son was woven into the match and got a big reaction. The Rizzler, people going nuts for him. Once again, I went back and watched some of their Instagram stuff and saw their family, you know, the wife does stuff on the reels and also their daughter. It’s cool how it’s a family effort and they’re super positive, they’re super optimistic and I’m there for that. You know me, I prefer that type of mentality more than any other pessimistic mentality at the end of the day. I love that, they seem like great guys and a great family, I’m very happy they got that opportunity and apparently they’re going to be doing more with AEW it sounds like.”
