Matthew Rehwoldt Says WES Has Cost Him Time And Money, Doesn't Believe Their Debut Show Will Happen

Matthew Rehwoldt is not pleased with the way Wrestling Entertainment Series (WES) has treated him.

On May 31, WES announced they were postponing their debut event, which was scheduled for June 4. It was then moved to July 9 at Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, UK, with some notable changes to the card.

Talent Still Aren't Sure Of WWE Raw On Netflix Runtime

One of the names contacted to take part in the show, which is being promoted by the Legion of Pain (formerly Authors of Pain in WWE), was Matthew Rehwoldt. The IMPACT wrestler/commentator previously worked with Gzim Selmani (Rezar) & Sunny Dhinsa (Akam) in WWE.

In a series of tweets (seen below), Rehwoldt says that WES has cost him time and money, noting that he turned down another booking to help his former colleagues. Unfortunately, he has yet to be contacted by anyone since then and is not convinced the show will actually happen. Furthermore, no pertinent information regarding travel or accommodations has been relayed to anyone he knows.

No one from the promotions has publicly commented on the matter as of yet.

The updated card for the WES debut show can be seen below.
