Maxxine Dupri and Sami Zayn save the day.
On the May 27 edition of Raw, Otis lost to Bronson Reed in a singles bout. After the conclusion of the match, Chad Gable called for Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri to come to the ring, as he was initiating an Alpha Academy meeting in the ring.
Once in the ring, Gable destroyed the entire group on the microphone before instructing Otis to stand against the ropes for a belt whipping. Gable then went to swing his belt at Otis, but Maxxine Dupri stopped him at the last second. This prompted Gable to yell at Dupri to get out of the ring and go backstage.
Sami Zayn was out next. Zayn criticized Gable for blaming all of his losses on other people and not being able to cope with his own failures. After proclaiming that he should have won the Intercontinental Championship at King And Queen Of The Ring, Gable went to whip Otis again before being stopped again, this time by Zayn.
Gable and Zayn began brawling, but after some slight hesitation, Otis came to the rescue of Gable once again. The segment ended with Gable standing over Zayn in the ring after dropping him with a german suplex.
