Mercedes Mone took a trip to Oaxaca, Mexico because that is where they grow Agave and produce Mezcal, and she wanted to see the process first hand.
While she was there, she saw a poster for a CMLL event on October 27, and wanted to make an appearance on the show.
She contacted Rocky Romero, who was in Japan and didn't respond in time.
"When I first landed, I saw a poster for CMLL. So, I texted Rocky to see if I could make an appearance. It was right down the street from the hotel that I was staying at. But Rocky didn’t get back to me because he was in Japan, and I needed him to get in. So, Rocky, be warned, I will punch you the next time I see you because I really wanted to make a surprise appearance at CMLL," Mercedes wrote in her Mone Mag.

Mercedes has made appearances for CMLL but has yet to wrestle for the promotion.
