Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer was asked about Hogan's appearance, and said she is a fan of The Iron Sheik, believing him to be from Lansing, Michigan.
The Original Sheik was from Lansing. The Iron Sheik was from Iran.

The Original Sheik also never fought Hogan, while Iron Sheik threatened to break his back and make him humble many times.
