Mick Foley wishes he could've done better.
WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley made his return to WWE last night to formally introduce the WWE 24/7 Championship that is currently in the possession of R-Truth. The title can be defended anywhere, any time at any place as long as an official is there to make the count. When Mick Foley initially pulled out the title from the bag that it was being held in, the fans in Albany, New York did not react positively. The audience remained silent for the greater portion of Foley's promo until he announced that whoever comes out and gets the title will be the first champion which was eventually Titus O'Neil.
Foley responded to a tweet from Da Pope on Twitter that had to do with the fan reaction to the title revelation and Mick shared that he came up short on the promo and wish he could've delivered it better.
Pope - I think the crowd was hoping for the return of the classic Hardcore Title. Thanks for the compliment, but I felt like I came up pretty short on that promo. No one’s fault but my own. https://t.co/mdET56CypC

Yes, I think the audience will begin enjoying the 24/7 aspect pretty quickly. I just wish I had kicked it off with a better promo. https://t.co/NGMTR2Pnbq
