Mickie James Confirms Nick Aldis Is Shadowing As WWE Producer, Thinks He'll Be Incredible

Mickie James has confirmed Nick Aldis' new gig.

After leaving IMPACT Wrestling following IMPACT Slammiversary and the subsequent taping, Aldis reportedly took a gig as a WWE producer, working on a tryout/shadow basis to see if things would work out between the two sides.

Speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, Aldis' wife Mickie James confirmed Aldis' role when asked who her favorite producer in WWE is.

Mickie first said Fit Finlay, and when Aldis was brought up, she said, "He's been shadowing there, but he's never produced me. I do think that he's going to be an incredible producer if that works out and they love that and he loves that. I also believe in my husband in anything he does, and I think he's an incredible wrestler, an incredible champion, an incredible artist with everything he does. He's a professional, an incredible businessman with legacy supplements. An incredible dad, an incredible husband. I'm always going to toot his horn, but I feel it comes off as very biased when I say it. I'm really grateful he has this opportunity, and if he takes it, I hope it's because he loves it and they love him. If they don't and he doesn't, I just know the wonderful things he's going to do."

Fightful Select reported that Aldis has been shadowing Petey Williams at events.

James is set to compete on August 26 at RevPro's Anniversary event. She will challenge Alex Windsor for the RevPro Women's Title in a triple threat bout that also includes Hyan.
