Mike Rallis (Riddick Moss) Recalls Secretly Training With Bryan Danielson While He Was Retired

Mike Rallis says Bryan Danielson is as good as advertised.

Mike Rallis, also known as Riddick Moss, did not get called up until 2020, but he spent several years in WWE's developmental system. He spent a lot of time at the WWE Performance Center, and he recently revealed that he once trained with Daniel Bryan, now known as Bryan Danielson.

During a virtual signing with East Coast Autograph Auctions, Rallis noted that he and Tenille Dashwood could face Bryan Danielson and Brie Danielson, among other opponents, in a mixed tag team match. He then recalled training with Danielson at the WWE Performance Center while he was retired and gearing up for a comenback.

“When [Bryan Danielson] was officially retired, I was called into the Performance Center for a super secret mission, and it was to train with him in the ring when no one else was allowed in there. I was sworn to secrecy for that. I just gotta say, that guy is as good as advertised. I couldn’t believe how good he was in the ring. He was just so smooth. Everything was exactly where it should be. He was amazing, and so I’ll take credit for his comeback," Rallis said with a smile.

WWE released Rallis in a wave of cuts in September 2023. Click here to see what he and Tenille Dashwood (Emma) had to say about their post-WWE plans.

Rallis recently discussed his run as Madcap Moss. Check out his comments here.

Danielson retired due to injury in 2016. He has gone on to make a remarkable comeback, as he won the WWE Championship in 2018. Danielson left WWE in 2021, and he is now signed to AEW. Most recently, he defeated Katsuyori Shibata on the March 16 episode of AEW Collision.
