While speaking to Irish Wrestling & Entertainment after the tournament, Santana gave credit to Ricky for the victory, stating that he was looking forward to seeing how Knight continued to grow in the coming years.

"I almost had him though I almost had him beat but it's close. But, uh, yeah, man, to see what he did in that main event it's insane like he's definitely like one of the top guys and I look forward to being able to work with him again and I look forward to also seeing his continued growth and he's still young as hell. He got a lot of time to go and I'm excited for him."

Ricky would end up making his way to the final of the tournament, where he would fall to Luke Jacobs.

Elsewhere in the same interview, Santana spoke about possibly making the trip to Ireland for a show. You can read more about that here.
