Mikey Rukus addresses new AEW Collision theme.
Fans may have noticed that AEW Collision had a new opening theme song for the July 20th episode. The theme was an in-house anthem as opposed to "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting" by Elton John, which had been used since the show premiered in June 2023.
On social media, AEW music producer Mikey Rukus wrote, "Hey guys. Its ok. I knew it would be universally hated. Theres no such thing as an upgrade from Elton. Change is inevitable. We tried something different with the college/gogo cadence. I knew many would t get it. Again, it’s ok. I’m happy with it, my team is happy with it. It’s not changing."
