Speaking with Troy Gonzales for WrestleZone, Shirakawa was asked to comment on what she hoped to accomplish in 2025.

“I have won Japanese belts and the British belt, but not yet an American belt. In 2025, I want to be a champion in the United States," Shirakawa said.

During the interview, Shirakawa was also asked to share her thoughts on working with AEW so far, and she highlighted how the wrestling was different from STARDOM. She noted that she mixed AEW's style with her own.

“There are many things that make AEW wrestling different from STARDOM wrestling. The way we attack is different, the points at which fans get excited about a match are different, and the way the storyline develops into a title match is different. I mixed the AEW style of wrestling with my own wrestling. That style has become my own personality because I don’t share it with the other fighters in Stardom in a good way," Shirakawa said.

Shirakawa competed for AEW leading up to AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, and she faced Toni Storm at the pay-per-view. She has competed on AEW and ROH programming since then. Shirakawa also appeared at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. There is currently no word on when Shirakawa will return to AEW.
