Mina Shirakawa, Lio Rush, and Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) all pulled a "Rick Rude" on August 30th as they competed at NJPW Capital Collision and AEW Rampage.

Grizzled Young Veterans went 1-1, defeating The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) on AEW Rampage, but losing to Hiroshi Tanahashi & Tomohiro Ishii in a three-way tag team match that also featured TMDK (Bad Dude Tito & Robbie Eagles).

Lio Rush had the roughest night of the group, losing to Gabe Kidd in a NJPW Strong Openweight Title match at NJPW Capital Collision, and losing a four-way bout to Konosuke Takeshita. The match also featured Komander and The Beast Mortos.

In the business of wrestling, this is known as "pulling a Rick Rude" as Rude famously appeared on the November 17, 1997 episodes of WWE Raw and WCW Nitro. Raw was pre-taped that week as Rude jumped from D-Generation X to the NWO.
