Another match has been made official for AEW Double or Nothing 2022.
Sammy Guevara’s feud with Dan Lambert and Men of the Year stretches back to when he was still a member of The Inner Circle. Now, after months of him and Tay Conti begging for a mixed-tag team match against Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page, and Paige VanZant, they’re finally getting their wish.
During the May 27 episode of AEW Rampage, it was announced that Sky, Page, and VanZant will face the team of Guevara, Conti, and Frankie Kazarian at the May 29 event. Sky recently defeated Kazarian to retain the TNT Championship, but not without a little help from his friends. Last week on Rampage, Kazarian and Guevara, in possession of Sky’s belt, smashed it to pieces with sledgehammers in the arena parking lot.
Scorpio was presented with a new belt this evening but the unveiling was interrupted by Kazarian, Guevara, and Conti who barged into American Top Team and broke a title case and stole a few belts. Sammy said that if they want them back, they'd have to beat them in Vegas. Scorpio Sky accepted the challenge but stated that if his team wins, Sammy and Kazarian can never challenge for the TNT Championship ever again.
