The real MJF is back.
In the main event of the July 3 episode of AEW Dynamite, Daniel Garcia challenged Will Ospreay for the AEW International Championship. MJF accompanied Garcia to the ring, and he even tried to help him cheat to win the bout, as he gave Garcia his Dynamite Diamond Ring. Garcia refused to use it, and Ospreay capitalized by hitting the Hidden Blade for the win.
Garcia was clearly disheartened after the bell, and Ospreay spoke with him. Ospreay left, and MJF consoled Garcia as well. MJF then turned on Garcia by kicking him below the belt. He proceeded to brutally attack Garcia. He hit both Garcia and Matt Menard with the Dynamite Diamond Ring and bloodied them. MJF continued to beat up Garcia, and he let him a bloody mess. He attacked security officials when they tried to get involved. MJF grabbed Garcia and talked some trash, questioning whether he had restored the feeling. He then hit Garcia with a Tombstone off the second rope.
What the hell is MJF thinking?!

Ospreay came in for the save, and MJF ran away. Garcia was then loaded onto a stretcher and taken away. On his way to the back, MJF threw trash at some fans.
MJF previously challenged Garcia to face him at AEW All In on the June 26 episode of AEW Dynamite, but Will Ospreay interrupted and challenged Garcia to face him on July 3.
