MJF Confirms Role In 'The Iron Claw'

MJF is officially a movie star.

On November 8, Deadline reported that MJF had been cast in "The Iron Claw," an upcoming film that depicts the Von Erich family from the 1960's to present day. PWInsider reported MJF would be playing Lance Von Erich.

MJF wouldn't confirm the news in an interview with Newsday by saying, "I don’t know where that came from, because I never confirmed that. People are just guessing. I never said that."

He's now confirmed the report in an appearance on Cheap Heat.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm a very big deal. Big Maj moment. First movie," he said after he was congratulated by hosts Peter Rosenberg and Greg Hyde for landing the role.

The cast currently includes Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Holt McCallany, Harris Dickinson, Maura Tierney and Lily James.
