MJF: F*ck A Big Three, It's Just Me. I'm Going To Break Every Toy Fans Love Until Everybody Thanks Me

MJF references Kendrick Lamar.

MJF was absent for several months due to injury before he returned at AEW Double or Nothing. He briefly teased aligning with Daniel Garcia before he turned on the former ROH Pure Champion and took him out. MJF went on to defeat Will Ospreay to win the AEW International Championship on the July 17th episode of AEW Dynamite.

Speaking with Justin on Casual Conversations with The Classic, MJF was asked about turning on Daniel Garcia and attacking him.

"Danny had it coming, to be honest. I was always gonna do that to him because I knew the fans loved him, and because of the way fans treated, I felt it was very necessary to break one of their toys, just like I did with Will, and I’m gonna continue to break every single toy that they love in this company until everybody thanks me for everything I’ve contributed to All Elite Wrestling," MJF said.

MJF was also asked about coming back to a new landscape in AEW with the perceived big three with Will Ospreay, Kazuchika Okada, and Mercedes Mone. MJF responded by referencing Kendrick Lamar and his battle with Drake.

“There was all this talk about a big three and then I showed up, and it was very obvious, fuck a big three, it’s just big me, in the words of Kendrick, although I feel Drake won that battle. But that’s a different conversation," MJF said.

In a recent interview, MJF said that AEW was boring without him.

MJF is set to appear on the July 24th episode of AEW Dynamite. Fightful will have coverage of the show as it airs at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
