MJF comments on his current contract.
MJF returned to AEW at AEW Double or Nothing, marking his first appearance since losing the AEW World Title to Samoa Joe at AEW Worlds End. MJF said in his promo that he isn't going anywhere and indicated he signed a long-term deal with the promotion.
Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, MJF was asked if going to WWE was a real possibility when his contract was up.
“Of course there was,” said MJF. “Am I going to get into the weeds? No. At this point in time, this move made the most sense for me. I’m making a ton of f------ money. As far as when the contract ends, that’s nobody’s business but my own.”
That settles that.
