MJF: Phillie Phanatic Is The Dumbest Mascot In Professional Sports

MJF says there's only one mascot who matters, and his name is Mr. Met.

AEW World Champion MJF appeared at the New York Mets game at Citi Field on September 17 to promote AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. Mike Janela of MSG Network interviewed MJF at the game and asked him to share his thoughts on some rivals of the Mets. The Phillie Phanatic came up the conversation, and MJF made his opinion clear.

"I’m gonna keep it this simple. By far the dumbest mascot in all of professional sports. Everybody knows there’s only one mascot that matters, and his name is Mr. Met," MJF said.

MJF also commented on his appearance at the game by sharing a picture of himself at another Mets game when he was a kid. He noted that "we" are the dreamers of dreams, and he's the fans' scumbag.

With MJF watching on, The Mets beat the Cincinnati Reds 8-4 on September 17.

MJF will defend the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam on September 20. More information is available here.

Drew Gulak previously joked about teaming up with the Phillie Phanatic at WrestleMania 40. Check out his comments here.
