Adam Cole is moving on to Worlds End.
On the December 11 edition of AEW Dynamite, Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly faced off in a singles match to determine who will get to challenge MJF for the Dynamite Dozen Ring at the Worlds End pay-per-view. This match came after Cole and O'Reilly were the final two participants in last Wednesday's Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal.
The finish of the match involved MJF himself, as he attempted to clock Adam Cole with the Dynamite Dozen Ring. Instead, Cole ducked and sent MJF flying with a superkick. O'Reilly tried to take advantage of this moment, rolling up Cole for a near fall. After the kickout, Cole attempted to superkick O'Reilly, but it was blocked at the last moment.
Then, Cole reversed an ankle lock from O'Reilly and finished the match by trapping him in a small package pin for the victory.
