MJF sustained an injury at Fight For The Fallen.
Britt Baker took to social media today to announce that she suffered a concussion during her tag match at AEW's Fight For The Fallen show and it has also been announced by the 'Inspire Pro Wrestling' promotion that MJF sustained an injury at Fight For The Fallen as well. The promotion pushed out three tweets, noting that MJF injured his elbow at AEW's July 13th event and with MJF also slated to work an AAA TV taping this week, the decision was made to pull him from the Inspire Pro Wrestling show to prevent further injury and MJF has agreed to relinquish the Pure Prestige Championship.
With MJF scheduled to appear at next week’s TRIPLEMANIA, the decision was made to pull him from tonight’s event to prevent any further injury. THEREFORE, MJF will NOT be defending his PURE PRESTIGE CHAMPIONSHIP tonight against RICKY STARKS.
