After the match, MJF took to Twitter/X and wrote that Ospreay's reign had been "caught and compromised to a permanent end." He stated that America had a real champion now.

The post was an apparent reference to John Cena, who used the "compromised to a permanent end" line to inform WWE fans of the death of Osama bin Laden at WWE Extreme Rules 2011. Bin Laden was killed in a targeted operation by SEAL Team Six.
