Major League Wrestling is going to Riot in New York City this summer.
Battle Riot is quickly becoming one of the most important Major League Wrestling traditions and this year, it is headed back to New York City.
The Battle Riot is a 40-Man Battle Royal where wrestlers can be eliminated in a multitude of ways. Those ways include being eliminated by either pin, submission, or going over the top rope and having both feet touch the arena floor. The winner then goes on to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at any time they choose.
Major League Wrestling announced during tonight's presentation of MLW SuperFight that Battle Riot IV will be located in New York City.

The first two Battle Riot events, which were held in 2018 and 2019 respectively, took place inside the Melrose Ballroom in Queens, New York. Last year, Battle Riot III took place inside the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Now, they're headed back to the Melrose Ballroom in Queens on Thursday, June 23, 2022
The past three winners of Battle Riot have been Tom Lawlor, LA Park, and the current World Champion, Alex Hammerstone. so far, LA Park is the only one to win the Battle Riot and lose his championship opportunity. He lost that opportunity to Jacob Fatu at MLW SuperFight Saturday Night, the last official pay-per-view offering from the promotion.
This upcoming WrestleMania weekend, LA Park will look to avenge that loss as he faces Jacob Fatu in an Azteca Apocalypto Match at MLW Azteca Underground. Learn more here.
We will continue to have more on this event as more information is made available.
