MLW has issued a response to Arez.
On November 8, 2023, Arez put out a statement on social media where he publicly asked for his release from Major League Wrestling. The statement noted that he had previously asked for release in a private manner and that he was frustrated with the fact that he hadn't been booked by MLW in over a year.
Not even an hour later, MLW issued a response to Arez, claiming that that notified AAA in May that Arez and Aramis were being released from the company. AAA was a co-signee on these contracts.
MLW also claimed that AAA stated that they would relay the information to both Arez and Aramis, before noting that they evidently did not do that.

AAA confirmed they would relay this to talent at that time. Evidently they did not.
We wish Aramis and Arez the best with the future.
Update: Aramis responded by stating that they have been free agents, but they did not know. He thanked MLW and Court Bauer for everything. Aramis looked forward to the future by noting that it's time to keep working.
We have been free agents but did not know. Thanks MLW and Court for everything.
