Court Bauer has Garza Jr. and Ultimo Ninja on his "do not disturb" list.
MLW CEO Court Bauer was answering fan questions on Twitter this morning when he was asked about bringing in top luchador Garza Jr. In his answer, Bauer revealed that he had previously tried to work with Garza Jr. and Ultimo Ninja, but will no longer consider the services of either man after what happened during their previous arrangement.
We brought in Garza along with Ultimo Ninja this past spring. They vanished, blowing off pre tapes to meet across town with @WWE Talent Relations and negotiate deals. Super talented guys but that was unprofessional and puts you on my do not disturb list. Sketchy move by WWE too. https://t.co/ghwbXCFHKi

Bauer offered more clarification on why the move was "sketchy" by WWE.
Not when the company actively arranges the meeting fully knowing why the talent is in town and on my dime. That's the definition of sketchy. If WWE wants to engage them, fly them in and do it on their $.

Finally, the MLW head honcho took a shot at Vince McMahon.
Old age? Someone out lifting him in the gym? A fragile wrestling ecosystem revitalizing itself around the world. Things like that. https://t.co/jFvz3x4goM

WWE has made no secret about their desire to scoop up top talent on the Independent scene. They are reportedly interested in MLW talent Shane Strickland, although his Lucha Underground contract could prevent him from starting with WWE in January. As of now, Strickland is still competing for MLW.
Bauer and MLW are preparing for their first live special this Friday, Dec. 14. The event will air on beIN Sports beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
