The IMPACT World Title will be on the line at Hard To Kill.
Matt Cardona opened tonight's show but was interrupted in the ring by Moose, who said that he's a "mid-carder" who isn't deserving of IMPACT's top prize. Moose then called him "Mid Cardona" and a fight broke out. W. Morrissey and Eddie Edwards came out and helped their respective ally.
Cardona approached Scott D'Amore backstage and expressed his desire to challenge Moose for the IMPACT World Championship. D'Amore told Cardona to prove to him that he was deserving of the opportunity when he (along with Eddie Edwards) faced Moose and W. Morrissey in the main event.
W. Morrissey spoke with Moose backstage and asked why he should help him with Cardona. Morrissey wants a title shot too and doesn't believe Moose has any intention of giving it to him. Moose promised Morrissey a match if he helped take Cardona out of the picture.
The main event ended with Cardona pinning Moose, scoring the win for himself and Eddie. D'Amore came to the ring after the show went off the air and explained the situation before announcing that Moose would defend his belt against Cardona and Morrissey in a triple threat match in the main event of Hard To Kill on January 8, 2022.
