Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley have captured the WWE Tag Team Championships in only two weeks on the WWE roster.
Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin defeated Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa on the October 25 WWE SmackDown to capture the WWE Tag Team Titles for the first time in their illustrious careers. They were given an immediate shot at the titles after they defeated Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa for the top contendership,
Nick Aldis tried to properly allow the Motor City Machine Guns to rest before a championship match, but Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin decided that they wanted to challenge for the titles right then and there. Unfortunately for the former Guerillas of Destiny, a reunited Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso, along with Roman Reigns, helped Shelley and Sabin capture the championships that eluded them for their entire run as a tag team.
Roman Reigns watched on as his Bloodline appeared to be coming together again.
