Mr. Stone will step into the ring at NXT Halloween Havoc.
During the October 17 episode of WWE NXT, a vignette provided an update on Von Wagner's recovery after Bron Breakker viciously attacked him on the September 5 episode of WWE NXT. The broadcast team later announced that Wagner suffered a minor skull fracture. During the update, Mr. Stone supported Wagner and encouraged him to get revenge once he was ready to return.
Later in the show, Mr. Stone took matters into his own hands by confronting Breakker and getting frusrtrated, as he noted that Breakker got to share the ring with The Undertaker on October 10, whereas time stopped for Wagner. He said he wanted Breakker to pay for what he did. Stone then challenged Breakker to a match at NXT Halloween Havoc, and Breakker accepted.

The match will mark Stone's fifth time competing in a WWE ring since he signed with the company and his first contest on NXT TV since November 2021.
