On the September 24 edition of WWE NXT, Grayson Waller and Austin Theory hosted Nathan Frazer and Axiom on 'The Grayson Waller Effect' ahead of the big NXT Tag Team Championship bout that will take place on the October 8 edition of WWE NXT.
Theory and Waller started the appearance by bragging about being the two of the best graduates in NXT history. After celebrating some of their main roster achievements, Theory and Waller introduced Frazer and Axiom to the segment.
Waller then attempted to push the duo apart, as he said that they would make great additions to the SmackDown roster as singles wrestlers. Axiom fired back and called Fraxiom the grim reapers of the NXT tag team division.
Waller defended his partnership with Theory, saying that they constantly are under pressure by performing under the bright lights. Frazer responded by questioning why Austin Theory isn't represented in the name of 'The Grayson Waller Effect'.
The duo of Waller and Theory then attacked Fraxiom and stood tall as the segment came to an end.
