AEW Dynamite On 34th Street Preview, Start Time, How To Watch (12/11): Darby Allin vs. Ricochet

Eli Drake & Chris Adonis come out to the ring and Chris shows us a highlight reel of all of the things the two of them have accomplished together including, but not limited to winning the IMPACT Global Championship. Drake says that he's the greatest champion in the history of IMPACT and a sharp dresser before saying that no one can touch him and he's interrupted by the returning Austin Aries. The crowd erupts at the Greatest Man That Ever Lived as he makes his way down  to the ring and gets in and says that he missed the fans and that he is the longest reigning and six time X-Division champion and that before Eli can call himself the greatest champion who ever lived he has to beat him. Eli acts like he's going to accept his challenge before Chris hits Austin from behind with the belt as a referee rushes down to the ring.

IMPACT Global Championship Match

Eli Drake (c) vs Austin Aries

Drake immediately gets a near fall as soon as the match starts with Aries on the mat before Eli argues with the referee and Austin knocks Chris off of the apron and to the floor. Austin then side steps Eli when he rushes in and hits a brainbuster for the pin and the win.

Eli Drake officially lost the title back on January 10, when the title change was taped. He had held the title for 143 days.
