New IWGP Jr. Tag Team Champions Crowned At NJPW The New Beginning In Sapporo

Roppongi 3K, in a short amount of time, are already IWGP Jr. Tag Team champions for a second time.

In a match filled with big spots and high drama, Sho and Yoh defeated the Young Bucks to reclaim the titles they lost earlier this month.

Much of the match dealt with Matt Jackson suffering a back injury as he did a flip dive taking out both Sho and Yoh early in the match. The Bucks dominated, but started to lose steam as Matt's back continued to bother him. Nick continued to hold down the fort as Matt started to go for the sharpshooter to finish off Yoh. Eventually, Yoh withstood the sharpshooter for so long that Matt's back gave out. This gave Yoh an opportunity to catch Yoh with an inside cradle to pick up the win and regain the titles for his team.

The Young Bucks only held the titles for 24 days, winning them earlier this month at Wrestle Kingdom 12 on January 4.
