Chuck Taylor has regained the PWG World title tonight at Mystery Vortex V.
He defeated Ricochet in a no disqualification match to win the title. It was said that the match was full of weapons, including a ladder, trash cans, and thumbtacks. The finish went down after Ricochet missed a 630 splash onto the thumbtacks and Chuck Taylor followed with an over the shoulder piledriver to regain the championship for a second time.
After the match, Chuck Taylor cut a promo, putting over Ricochet. The now former champion then cut a promo himself, pretty much bidding the promotion farewell. The locker room then emptied out in appreciation.
There has been massive speculation about where Ricochet will go next, the obvious path being WWE, but nothing's been confirmed. A few months ago, there was a report out that said he wasn't set to take any future independent dates after this month.
Ricochet was PWG World champion for 83 days, defeating Chuck Taylor for the championship on October 21 at All Star Weekend 13 -- Night Two.
