Just one day after the company's biggest Pay-Per-View of the year, Bound For Glory, TNA's biggest prize changed hands.
Eddie Edwards, who fell to Aaron Rex for the TNA Grand Championship at Bound For Glory, defeated champion Bobby Lashley to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
Edwards beat Lashley for the title after the champion was able to pick his opponent for the night. With the choices being Moose, EC3 and Edwards, Lashley chose Edwards because he was the "easiest" opponent, according to those in attendance.
Edwards won the match, and celebrated with fellow superstars in the ring.
