The X Division Title is vacant no more.
Last month at Victory Road, Josh Alexander exercised Option C, choosing to relinquish the X Division Championship in order to challenge Christian Cage for the IMPACT World Title. As a result, a series of triple threat matches were held to determine the three contestants who would contend for the vacant belt at Bound For Glory.
The X Division Championship went on second at Bound For Glory, with Trey Miguel, Steve Maclin, and El Phantasmo trading countless chances to end the bout. Maclin controlled the bout, but was taken out of the picture after El Phantasmo dropped Trey Miguel on his knees. The Bullet Club member was eventually hit with a top rope Meteora by Trey, who was able to pin Pahnatsmo to win the match and become the new X Division Champion.
