205 Live airing before NXT.
The WWE Network show 205 Live has been in effect since November of 2016 and the show airs exclusively every Tuesday night after SmackDown Live goes off the air on the USA Network. In 2018, 205 Live has seen a change on-screen and behind the scenes as the show received an on-screen GM in the form of Rockstar Spud now-named "Drake Maverick". NXT founder and senior producer Triple H has taken creative control over the show which has garnered the praise of those who have seen the product development this year.
205 Live normally airs on the WWE Network every Tuesday at 10 PM EST but WWE has changed directions moving forward. Starting this week, 205 Live will air Wednesday night at 8 PM EST, prior to NXT, on the WWE Network.The Mixed Match Challenge tournament has its season two debut coming up next Tuesday on Facebook Watch immediately following SmackDown Live which is the slot that 205 Live normally holds.
